Colorado Distillers Festival
The Colorado Distillers Festival exclusively features Colorado distilleries benefits the Colorado Distillers Guild, and has been held annually at the Rackhouse Pub since 2011. Fermentable Sugar was responsible for all visual elements of the Colorado Distillers Festival brand.
Printed Marketing Materials
We developed posters and fliers to distribute to craft breweries, craft distilleries, and liquor stores ahead of the Colorado Distillers Festival. Our tiered pricing encouraged people to buy tickets online ahead of time. We designed the posters to both match the brand identity of the festival as well as highlighting the critical information of the event. We received permission from Peach Street Distillers to use “Always Drink Colorado” as the headline for the creative.
Social Marketing Promotion
To increase awareness across social channels, Fermentable Sugar developed an infographic to generate more interest among potential consumers. We looked at the locations of the participating distilleries and decided there were a few ways to sample spirits from each of the distilleries – one way is to do a 1000+ mile road trip, the other was to attend the 2012 Colorado Distillers Festival. This infographic doubled ticket sales in less than a week, was retweeted multiple times by consumers and covered by various media outlets, including 5280.com.
